Ontario Home Care Research Network: Website design, custom-built content management system and researcher community portal
Tevetra has developed a website for the newly formed Ontario Home Care Research Network (OHCRN). Here are some of the exciting features this site includes:
  • Password protected content mixed with publicly available content
  • Protected PowerPoint presentations, viewed through the website.
  • A "Researcher's Portal" where registered users can share and exchange information and ideas in a secure environment
  • An efficient user-management interface for the site administrator
  • A custom search engine for OHCRN's EndNote bibliography database
  • A custom, easy-to-use content management system for the site administrator. No coding knowledge necessary to update the website!

ideas for Health: Online Health Assessment Tools
Tevetra is actively developing a set of online health assessment tools that are used across the world to collect valuable research data on medical patients and residents of long-term-care facilities. "ideas for Health" is a research group based at the University of Waterloo with a focus on "promoting ideas - innovations in data, evidence and application systems for the health sector".

Features of assessment tools:
  • All interactions with the assessment tool are protected using 128-bit encryption (SSL).
  • Username and password protected
  • Users of the assessment tool can print out neatly formatted paper versions (PDF) of complated assessments for their records
  • The assessment tool calculates "outcome measures" based on assessment data to predict: the care needs of the patient, mental illnesses, and much more.
  • Some of the assessment tools produce "aggregate reports" for the users. These reports state the frequency and percent of each response possability across any number of individual assessments. All this calculation is done automaticaly in a metter of seconds on a per-request basis, and is available in PDF format.
  • The data these assessments collect is used extensively by ideas for Health for government-funded research
Tevetra is on call for technical support to the users of the software. Over 15 different assessment tools have been launched already and more are being developed. Due to security and copyright reasons, a preview of these assessments is not available.

These assessment tools were built using Coldfusion and MySQL.
